Daxner is a dynamic, internationally expanding family company with around 200 employees and headquarters in Wels/Austria as well as a worldwide network of sites, sales and service partners.

With know-how and more than 30 years of experience, we provide our customers with ready-to-use overall concepts from planning, production and assembly to commissioning. Our customers include renowned companies from the food, pet food and chemical industries.

We realize innovative and application-oriented plant solutions for the handling of powder and granular products as well as liquids – starting with the reception of raw materials up to the finished product.

Since our foundation in 1984 with 9 employees up to the present day with about 120 employees at the location in Wels, we have grown continuously and remained down-to-earth – consistently with the aim of developing progressive, high-tech plant technology.

What we offer

A modern place of work

We offer attractive working conditions with high-tech, ergonomical workplaces. The Daxner Lounge serves our team as a cafeteria to relax during lunch break but also as a place for after-work get togethers.

Mentoring program

Each new employee is starting out their career at Daxner with an extensive in-company training from an experienced colleague. Additionally, performance feedback is given as needed.

Education and Training

Our educational program consists of inhouse trainings, as well as experts’ workshops, seminars, conferences and language courses.

Cafeteria

We offer our employees a choice of freshly cooked meals from Monday to Thursday which are prepared at a local restaurant and delivered directly to the company.

Our employees volunteering for the fire brigade

To support our employees volunteering as firefighters in their hometowns, we grant paid leave for the duration of urgent firebrigade operations.

Sabbaticals

In consultation with the management, a sabbatical is usually possible. Together we find solutions to continue to meet the crucial operational requirements and plan the temporary redistribution of tasks for the desired duration of the sabbatical.

Company pension

We take on responsibility for our employees’ future with an additional company pension plan.

Monthly travel expenses allowance

We supply our employees with a voluntary monthly travel expenses allowance in the amount of a monthly ticket for public transport, regardless of whether public transport is used or not.

Our experienced engineering team impresses our customers and partners with innovative approaches to solutions and technically sophisticated, tailor-made plant designs. Daxner sales engineers are experienced industry insiders and accompany our demanding customers with high technical competence, know-how and great personal commitment.

The variety of activities in our workshop is as broad as our range of services in plant and mechanical engineering. Top trained, experienced and dedicated metal technicians are the basis for the high quality and reliability of our machines and plants. Thanks to the international commitment of our experienced and competent assemblers, ready-to-use complete plants are created from individual components.

Since the company foundation in 1984, we at Daxner have been training apprentices in the profession of metal technician and encouraging their further development within the company. In-house training is a success story for us. Our production manager and apprentice trainer, our assembly manager, our production team leaders and core top specialists in our workshop all started with us as apprentices.
